On 1 March 1992 the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina have declared for an independent sovereign and independent Bosnia and Herzegovina out of the former Yugoslavia. After the referendum was followed by the aggression of the Serbian republic of Yugoslavia to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Consequences of the war, which lasted 4 years were 1 million refugees from Bosnia and Herzegovina 1.2 displaced within Bosnia and Herzegovina and about 250,000 killed. The war is finished signing the Dayton Peace Agreement.
This day is marked by the blood in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
